English for Academic Purposes (EAP) is a specialised English course that prepares international students for university-level study in Australia. It develops academic reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills including essay writing, presentations, research skills, and seminar participation.
Clinton English's EAP course is CRICOS registered (03895J) and meets the English language requirements for pathway entry into Clinton Institute's vocational and higher education programs. Completion of our EAP course can replace an IELTS/PTE requirement for direct university entry.
The EAP course at Clinton English runs for up to 36 weeks depending on your starting level. Most students complete one or two EAP modules per term (8–12 weeks each). Your progression depends on your initial English level and academic goals.
